Your wedding day is supposed to be the happiest day of your life, right? That's what they say, at least. I went into that day hoping I'd get the happiest day of my life. What I got? The worst. I mean, you really can't get any worse of a day without someone actually dying.

So...I may have gotten just a little drunk, and maybe just a tad impetuous... And landed myself in a dive bar somewhere in Alaska, alone, still in my wedding dress, half-wasted and heart-broken.

Eight brothers, one bar. Sounds like the beginning to a bad joke, yeah? I kinda think so. Wanna hear another joke?

A girl walks into a bar, soaking wet and wearing a wedding dress.

I knew I shouldn't have touched her. She was hammered, for one thing, and heartbroken for another. I've chased enough tail to know better. That kinda thing only leads to clinginess, and a clingy female is the last thing on this earth I need. I got a bar needs running, and only me to run it-at least until my seven wayward brothers decide to show their asses up...

Then this chick walks in, fine as hell, wearing a soaked wedding dress that leaves little enough to the imagination-and I've got a hell of an imagination. I knew I shouldn't have touched her. Not so much as a finger, not even innocently. But I did.

3.5 Badd Brother Stars!!

Dru is feeling uneasy on her wedding day, she’s having major jitters, so she seeks out her fiancé Michael so he can reassure her and put her uneasy feelings to rest. However, she finds her fiancé boinking one of her bridesmaids. Dru flees the church with her father and gets drunk with him and his police cronies at their watering hole, which happens to be at private airfield bar. After getting drunk she proceeds to catch a plane and winds up in Ketchikan, Alaska where she drunkenly stumbles into Badd’s Bar & Grill and meets Sebastian Badd. The attraction is immediate, overwhelming, and intense!!

Sebastian Badd is surly, bad tempered, angry and feeling defeated. Sebastian is grieving the death of his father and is barely keeping things afloat at the family Bar & Grill. All of his brothers are living their own lives away from Alaska, leaving him to deal with their long-grieving father, the family business, and now their father’s death. Sebastian has never had the chance to pursue his own dreams since he was too busy with the bar and raising his seven (yes, seven!!) younger brothers.

Much to Sebastian’s annoyance, when his father’s will is read three months after his death, his father indicated that all of the Badd siblings must return to Alaska and help run the family Bar & Grill for one year to receive their share of the inheritance bestowed.

Dru is no delicate flower, she stands up for herself and is able to take care of herself and does. She sees through Sabastian’s gruff exterior to the vulnerable guy underneath. Dru quickly realizes that relationship she had with her cheating fiancé wasn’t what it should have been and in fact, they were completely wrong for one another.  She spent four years with him and can’t let go until she sorts not only everything in her head but with Michael too.

Sabastian never gets involved with women, he has one night stands period! He is an idiot when it comes to relationships and he almost loses Dru by acting like a complete dumbass. Luckily, his brother Zane calls him on his bullshit and he’s able to clear the air with Dru before she runs.

This was  insta-love, hot, sexy, read with a (very) dirty talking Alpha, I enjoyed this book and I look forward to reading more of the Badd Brothers stories (we get to meet all seven of brothers in this book) but I have to say, I was a bit disappointed in the epilog. It focused too much on the brothers, more specifically Zane, whose book is next, and took away from Dru and Sabastian’s happily ever after.
