Nick Mancino always gets what he wants -- until now. Despite his seductive persistence, brainy, beautiful scientist Kay Hudson continues to elude him. However, Nick was a Navy Seal, and an FBI Special Agent, so giving up isn't an option.

Ever since that incendiary kiss they shared when Nick saved her beloved grandfather's life, Kay’s been having red hot fever dreams about Nick, but she’s got no business being tempted by anything. She’s on the verge of risking her reputation, her career, her very life, to blow the lid off a deadly bioweapons conspiracy, and Nick’s smoldering eyes, rock-hard body and hot, searching lips should be the very last thing on her mind.

However, with so much to lose, she deserves one blazing night of pleasure with Nick before she disappears forever.

But Nick won't let her face her demons alone . . . and they will have to face down an enemy that could consume them...and the entire world.

Dorsey’s Review

4 Men of Midnight Stars!!

Former FBI Special Agent Nick Mancino has been wanting and dreaming about Dr. Kay Hudson since their last meeting, when he saved her grandfather, retired FBI agent,  Al Goodnight, who met in Metal and Felicity’s book, Midnight Promises. When Nick (who now works with the AIS Team) finally catches up with her, they spend one explosive night together. Little does Nick know that within hours Kay will disappear and walk right into danger. Naturally, Nick is not keen on letting Kay walk away, especially walking into danger. Kay is out to expose a deadly plot that will have the potential of killing 1000’s of innocent people.

Midnight Fever is action-packed, suspenseful, and sexy. As I’ve said in the past these books remain the same in theme…..alpha hero, strong women, yet, they are still damsels in distress. Regardless of the theme remaining the same I AM HOOKED on these Men of Midnight books! I love that past characters are very involved with each new book, getting their updates, seeing their growing families, and watching them all work together to help the current couple in any way they can. I can’t wait to get the next Midnight book!!

There were a couple of loose ends in this book that lacked conclusion and although there was a lot of talk of Nick’s huge Italian family and Kay’s beloved grandfather, Al Goodnight, neither make an appearance, I found that disappointing along with what seemed to be an abrupt ending…had we met some of Nick’s family and/or had a cameo from Kay’s grandfather this would have been a five star read for me.

All-in-all another great addition to the Midnight Men series!! Definitely, a must read if you’re a fan of the series!!
