It didn't matter that the ref called it a clean hit. Nico Hunter would never be the same.

Elle has a good life. A job she loves, a great apartment, and the guy she's been dating for more than two years is a catch and a half. But it's boring...and she strives to keep it that way. Too many emotions are dangerous. Her own past is living proof of what can happen when you lose control.

Then Nico walks into Elle's office and everything changes...for both of them. But what can the tattooed, hard-bodied MMA fighter and the beautiful and always steady attorney have in common? A lot more than they bargained for.

***Author's note*** THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Worth the Fight1

4.5 Fighting Stars!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I’m not normally a “Sports Romance” type of gal but it came highly recommended and I knew I needed to read it!

I loved both the hero and the heroine and the complexity of their characters. They both had demons in their past that they were punishing themselves for and believed they were unworthy of any kind of future happiness.

Elle is a bright young attorney and is working long hours at a small firm where she interned. She is steadily seeing a fellow attorney, William, who she went to law school with. He is more of a “friends with weekly benefits” type of thing. She suffered a horrific trauma as a young girl that irrevocably changed her life.

Nicholas “Nico” is a successful MMA fighter, who during his last fight, suffered a major trauma that he can’t let go of or move past and he’s not been able to go back into the cage because of it.

In addition, to William being her “friend”, they often consult each other on cases, William needs her assistance in helping his client Nicholas break a contract and since that’s right up her alley she meets with William and Nicholas….sparks fly!! INSTANT ATTRACTION!!! I’m usually not one to fall for “instant attraction” in books but it was totally there…a living breathing thing!! I couldn’t wait for them to finally get together!! And when they did, I totally feel in love with Nico. He’s a tattooed badass but he is so much bigger than his “Lady Killer” persona especially when it comes to his family and loved ones.

With a fabulous epilogue, this book didn’t leave me feeling like I missed anything!! Totally looking forward to reading Vinny’s book Worth the Chance next and hopefully we’ll have some more Nico and Elle.

About Vi Keeland

Vi Keeland is a native New Yorker with three children that occupy most of her free time, which she complains about often, but wouldn’t change for the world. She is a bookworm and has been known to read her kindle at stop lights, while styling her hair, cleaning, walking, during sporting events, and frequently while pretending to work. She is a boring attorney by day, and an exciting New York Times & USA Today Best Selling smut author by night!

In 2013, she released her first romance novel and never looked back. To date, she has ten novels released, with two more in the works for 2016. Her novels have appeared on the Top 5 lists of Amazon USA, UK, Canada, iTunes and Barnes & Noble.
