Review: Duke of Pleasure (Maiden Lane #11) by Elizabeth Hoyt

Review: Duke of Pleasure (Maiden Lane #11) by Elizabeth Hoyt

Crista’s Review 5 Stars! I wish that Duke of Pleasure could be made into a movie.  The drama, intrigue, romance, and larger than life characters would come alive on the big screen.  I also kept seeing the man on the cover in my mind while I read this novel, and I would love to see him in the flesh!! This can be read as a stand-alone, but it’s better if you’ve been reading the series and are familiar with the characters.  However, I am a reader of this series, and I’m not sure how I could’ve missed that Alf is a GIRL!!  Alf is a beloved character from previous books that […]

Review: Once Upon a Moonlit Night (Maiden Lane #10.5) by Elizabeth Hoyt

Review: Once Upon a Moonlit Night (Maiden Lane #10.5) by Elizabeth Hoyt

Crista’s Review 4 Stars! Oh, how I loved this novella!!  If you are looking for a few laughs, some quick entertainment, and a believable and passionate romance, this novella has all you could hope for and more!! Review: Duke Of Sin (Maiden Lane #10) by Elizabeth Hoyt

Review: Duke Of Sin (Maiden Lane #10) by Elizabeth Hoyt

Crista’s Review Duke of Sin is book 10 of Elizabeth Hoyt’s brilliant Maiden Lane series.  It can be read as a standalone, but the characters do appear in other books and readers may miss some backstory if not familiar with the previous books.  On the other hand, this book is VERY different from all other books in the series, so it might actually work to read it all by itself. Valentine Napier, the Duke of Montgomery, is not a nice man.  He is definitely an anti-hero and has done some truly despicable things.  This is a new avenue for Hoyt, and she really does a fabulous job tackling a very difficult […]
