REVIEW: GIFTS (The Killers #3) By Brynne Asher

REVIEW: GIFTS (The Killers #3) By Brynne Asher

Dorsey’s Review 5 Killer Stars!! Gifts by Brynne Asher is the third book in The Killer series, and (as of right now) is my absolute favorite so far, although, books one and two are awesome too so that’s saying something! I hadn’t read very many single dad books, but thanks to Brynne Asher I’m going to have to consider this genre. Asa Hollingsworth is just the type of man I love to read about, he’s all ALPHA, hot, bossy, a loving dad, and loyal friend. Keelie is a high school counselor and a single parent who has a ton of worries and responsibilities on her shoulders. She tries her hardest to put […]

Little does Nick know that within hours Kay will disappear and walk right into danger. Naturally, Nick is not keen on letting Kay walk away, especially walking into danger. REVIEW: WIRED by Julie Garwood (Buchanan-Renard #13)

REVIEW: WIRED by Julie Garwood (Buchanan-Renard #13)

Dorsey’s Review 3.5 Stars!! Not one of my favorites of the series, but, I did enjoy it. I loved that we had cameo’s from Noah, Jordan (who is Alli’s close friend), and Alec. FBI Agent Liam Scott (he was first introduced to us in Fast Track) is trying to find out who in the FBI is leaking confidential information via email. Allison Trent is in her senior year at college, beautiful, and a genius at computers and unfortunately hacking, she’s a modern-day cyber Robin Hood and earns money to pay for her education (and support her horrid family) by modeling on the side. Liam enlists her help in solving his case […]

REVIEW: LETHAL LIES by Rebecca Zanetti (Blood Brothers, #2)

REVIEW: LETHAL LIES by Rebecca Zanetti (Blood Brothers, #2)

Dorsey’s Review 3.75 Lethal Stars! Rebecca Zanetti’s Blood Brothers series continues with Heath’s story. Blood Brothers is a spinoff series of her Sin Brothers series (a favorite of mine!). You really don’t have to read the Sin Brothers series to enjoy this series, but, I highly recommend reading Deadly Silence, book one in this series before reading Lethal Lies. The brothers are private investigators and possess enhanced skills that give them the upper hand when needed. I completely love the camaraderie between Heath, Ryker, and Denver along with the Gray Brothers (Sin Brothers series) who all have cameos in this series. “Ryker reached into the cooler and withdrew three beer bottles. […]

REVIEW: PATHS by Brynne Asher (The Killers #2)

Dorsey’s Review   4 Alpha Protective Stars!! Paths, book 2 in The Killers series, picks up where Vines, book 1, ended and we were introduced Grady Cain, and briefly to Maya Augustine. Grady and Maya totally captured my heart, especially Grady!! Maya and Grady meet at the vineyard where she works at Grady and Maya totally captured my heart, especially Grady!! We know right away Maya is running from something, she’s hiding from her past, and the very real threats she faces if found. Maya is also an activity director at a retirement home, she loves her […]

REVIEW: VINES by Brynne Asher (The Killers, #1)

REVIEW: VINES by Brynne Asher (The Killers, #1)

Dorsey’s Review 4 Alpha Loving Stars!! Addy is the owner of a small Virginia winery. She has a few employees she considers family since she has no family of her own. Her father was killed when she was a child and she recently lost her mother to cancer. While on a trip Addy comes across a small vineyard for sale, it was fate and an opportunity that Addy just couldn’t pass up. “Certain moments in life become etched in your soul. For me, I have merely a handful. Buried deep, they’re entwined, tangled, and even disheveled. Living together forever, they create who we are and how we see the world. More so, how we react to […]
