Review: Lost Rider (Coming Home #1) by Harper Sloan

Review: Lost Rider (Coming Home #1) by Harper Sloan

Crista’s Review 4 Stars! The first romance novel I ever read was written by Diana Palmer and featured one of her typical brooding cowboy heroes.  I’ll always have a fondness for her and her heroes.  When I saw that this book was recommended for fans of Diana Palmer, I jumped at the chance to read and review it. Lost Rider is just the kind of book that I love.  It features a heroine who’s been in love with the hero her entire life.  I love books where the main couple knew one another from the time they were teens.  It also features a wounded cowboy, both physically and emotionally. Review Rewind: Taming Eliza Jane (Gardiner, Texas #1) by Shannon Stacey

Review Rewind: Taming Eliza Jane (Gardiner, Texas #1) by Shannon Stacey

Karla’s Review 5 Stars! What a pleasant surprise!  An endearing and fun love story! Think Maverick/Cheyenne Social Club/Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, all rolled into one.  Eliza Jane, divorced women’s libber has come to town, and now the townsfolk are in an uproar, and she is at the center of it all. Quite the comedic duo. Will is charming, sexy, sweet, and he’s just the man to keep Eliza Jane out of trouble…maybe! But trouble has a way of […]

Review: Saddle Up (Hot Cowboy Nights #4) by Victoria Vane

Karla’s Review 3.5 Stars! While I loved the detail about the plight of the  mustangs I felt that it might have overshadowed the romance element in the story. For that reason, I had a hard time feeling the chemistry between the 2 main protagonists, Keith and Miranda. I loved them well enough as individuals but I didn’t get that all-consuming feeling that they belonged together, something I look for in my romance reads. I also would have liked more information as to why Keith had the falling out with his tribe due to the documentary that was filmed about him. There were bits and pieces but nothing concrete that would help […]
