I’m All Ears ~ Books Worth a Listen! (Survivor in Death by J.D. Robb)

I’m All Ears ~ Books Worth a Listen! (Survivor in Death by J.D. Robb)

Survivor in Death (In Death, #20) by J.D. Robb, narrated by Susan Ericksen The only thing that kept young Nixie Swisher from suffering the same fate as her parents, brother, housekeeper, and young sleepover companion was the impulsive nine-year-old’s desire for an illicit orange fizzy at 2 a.m. Taking the bereft girl under her wing, Eve is determined to make sure the killers don’t get the chance to finish their lethal job. Restoring Jordan by Elizabeth Finn

Restoring Jordan by Elizabeth Finn

5 Blissful Stars!!! What a pleasure to read! Elizabeth Finn knows how to write romance!! Love with a strong side of smut ~ Elizabeth Finn NO SH*T!!! That about sums up this book! This story starts out rather raw, with Jordan approaching Adeline in a bar asking her question that took my breath away… “Do you want to fuck me?” Boy does she ever and boy did I want her to!! Innocent Adeline thinks it’s high time she experience what it’s like to have sex, she talks herself into it, convincing herself it’s a way of celebrating her newly appointed internship at Foster Architectural Design. ”I do not care what this […]

Brother’s Keeper by Elizabeth Finn

Brother’s Keeper by Elizabeth Finn

4 Stars! A Sizzling Controversial Read! “Not having sex has never been so much fun.” I’m going to start off by saying, I don’t think I’ve ever read so many sensual, seat-squirming, off-the-chart HOT scenes that didn’t involve the actual act of sex! PHEW!!! The misting fan needs new batteries!! I had a little bit of an issue with Rowan’s age in the beginning, she’s 17 on the cusp of 18 and Logan is 7 years her senior, BUT as I continued to read, there was no doubt in my mind that these two were meant to be. The circumstances that brought them together were innocent enough, and Logan’s intentions were […]

The Rancher and the Rock Star by Lizbeth Selvig

The Rancher and the Rock Star by Lizbeth Selvig

4 1/2 Stars! Well developed, very enjoyable romance/family drama! I was impressed.  Right off the bat I want to say, don’t judge this book by its cover or its title, neither do the book justice! Yes, this is a book about a small-time rancher and rock star, but not in the way that you might think. Abby Stadler runs a small horse farm, and Gray Covey is a rock star, however, he’s not a down and dirty, gritty rock star as is being depicted in so many popular reads of late. I would attribute him to a “Bruce Springsteen” type, famous in his day and that popularity has proven itself over time and […]
